Visit home gardens that are water-wise, low maintenance, low on chemical use, bird and butterfly friendly, and attractive. A variety of home gardens landscaped with California native plants will be open to the public. Free admission; registration required at www.GoingNativeGardenTour.org before April 29, 12 noon, or until the tour reaches capacity, whichever comes first. Space is limited; register early to ensure a place.

This is a self-guided tour of 60 fabulous gardens that provide habitat for wildlife, are pesticide-free, conserve water, and contain 30% or more native plants. More than 40 free talks will be given throughout the day, and native plants will be sold or given away at more than a dozen locations.

Registration is required in order to receive a guidebook and directions. The tour is expected to fill: register early to avoid being disappointed.
